Carrie Underwood Shocks Fans with Rock Collab: Is a Rock Album Next? 🤘

Carrie Underwood, the country queen who has given us iconic hits like “Before He Cheats” and “Cowboy Casanova,” just rocked the music world in a whole new way.

The American Idol alum turned heads when she joined forces with Jacoby Shaddix, lead singer of Grammy-nominated band Papa Roach, during one of their shows at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The surprise visit had fans buzzing, and it wasn’t long before they started calling for Carrie to drop a rock album of her own.

🎸 A Country Queen Goes Rock ‘N’ Roll

Dressed in leather bell bottoms, a fringe jacket, and a fishnet top, Carrie shared photos from the show on Instagram, saying:

“Still in disbelief over this one.”
She went on to explain that not only did she perform “Leave A Light On” with the band, but she was called back on stage to join them for “Last Resort.” Talk about a rockstar moment!

Fans went wild when she posted a clip of their duet, with many commenting things like:

“We never knew we needed this.”
“This goes crazy 🤘.”

🔗 A Powerful Partnership with a Purpose

This wasn’t just a fun night out. Carrie and Papa Roach also collaborated last year to record a special version of “Leave A Light On (Talk Away the Dark)” to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. All royalties from the song were donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, with a focus on supporting the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

🔥 Rock Fans, Rejoice!

Longtime fans of Carrie know that she’s always had a thing for rock music. From her powerful covers of Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child o’ Mine” to Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way,” it’s clear that she can rock with the best of them. So, if a rock album is in her future? We say, bring it on!
